Roxbury Public Library Hosts Special Needs Resource Fair

SUCCASUNNA, NJ (January 20, 2026) – The Roxbury Public Library will host a Special Needs Resource Fair on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering families and individuals an opportunity to connect with a wide range of local organizations and services that support people with disabilities and special needs.


This free community event is open to individuals of all ages, from school-aged children to adults. Representatives from area agencies and organizations will be on hand to provide information, answer questions, and offer guidance on topics including early intervention, therapy services, recreation programs, advocacy, education services, and more.  No advance registration is necessary.


“This fair reflects the library’s role as a hub for learning, connection, and opportunity for all,” said Cassie Collucci, Roxbury's Library Director. “We are honored to host an event that empowers individuals with special needs and their families by connecting them directly with organizations that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.”


Attendees can explore resources, enjoy giveaways, and participate in interactive activities and games throughout the day. The fair is designed to be welcoming, informative, and engaging for individuals with varying needs and interests.


Event highlights include:

  • Creature Comfort Pet Therapy, with opportunities for individuals to sign up for quiet time with therapy dogs

  • 30-minute Drum Circle at 11:30 a.m.

  • Activities in the library meeting room from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.

This event provides a supportive environment for learning, connection, and community-building, bringing together families, individuals, and service providers in one accessible space.
