In preparation for their huge multi-day book sale in September, the Friends of the Roxbury Library will host a collection beginning on Saturday, August 23rd from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Donors are asked to drop-off donations in the large meeting room. The collection will run through August 28, and tax receipts will be available.
“Think of this as your big ‘Summer Cleaning’ opportunity,” said Stu Bauer, president of the Friends of Roxbury Library. “Make some space on your shelves so you can fill them again at our huge sale in September."
The library asks potential donors to use discretion when offering books, as not every book is appropriate for the sale. The Friends of the Roxbury Library are not able to accept books that are not in resellable condition. Donors are asked not to bring vhs tapes, encyclopedias, reference books, text books prior to 2020, magazines, or Reader’s Digest Condensed Books.
