The NJLM, founded in 1915, represents all 564 municipalities in New Jersey and plays a vital role in supporting local government through advocacy, education, and collaboration among municipal leaders.

In this role, Mayor Stanzilis will work with mayors and officials from across the state to help shape policy discussions, strengthen relationships with State government, and ensure that municipalities have a strong voice in issues that affect residents.

Mayor Stanzilis shared the following statement:

“Serving on the Executive Board allows me to stay closely engaged with what’s happening in Trenton and to advocate on behalf of Mount Arlington and communities across New Jersey. It’s an honor and a responsibility, and I look forward to contributing to the betterment of the League, Mount Arlington, and the State of New Jersey.”

The Borough congratulates Mayor Stanzilis on this appointment and looks forward to the benefits it will bring to Mount Arlington and the region.
