FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Flanders, NJ – Eleventh Hour Rescue will be holding its 2024 Barkfest event on Saturday, May 4, from 11 am to 4pm, at Turkey Book Park on Flanders Road in Mount Olive. People and properly-leashed dogs are welcome—ticket presales will begin in mid-April.

Barkfest is an outdoor, rain or shine, event which raises money to support the continuing efforts of EHR. It is a day-long outing for families and their dogs featuring vendors, food, adoptable animals, kids’ activities, music and entertainment, a tricky tray, and more.

Sponsors of event include: Top Dog, Purrfect Partner, Mountainview Veterinary Hospital, Anniemac Home Mortgage, and Salerno Duane Infinity of Denville.

Eleventh Hour Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, 100% no-kill, volunteer-based organization dedicated to saving the lives of innocent dogs and cats on death row. They give their dogs and cats all the medical attention they require, a place to live, and, through their extensive adoption services, a second chance at a happy and fulfilled life. They are not subsidized by government grants and receive no major corporate funding, relying solely on the generosity of volunteers, the community, and animal lovers everywhere.
