Teens Can Earn Volunteer Hours at the Library this Summer
Newton, NJ – The Sussex County Library System (SCLS) is seeking teen volunteers, ages 14+, to assist with the upcoming Summer Reading Program, "Unearth a Story." Teens looking to earn service hours can apply online or visit their local library branch.
The volunteer application, along with a supplemental medical note and parental consent form, are due no later than June 13. Applicants must also attend a Teen Volunteer Orientation at their local branch. Details on times, dates, and locations of orientations are available at Sussexcountylibrary.org/events.
The Summer Reading Program kicks off on June 25 and runs through July 25. In addition to volunteering, teens are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Program by reading books, earning raffle tickets, and entering to win prizes.
