Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday on Lake Hopatcong
Join the Lake Hopatcong Foundation and the 250th Anniversary of the Revolution: Morris County initiative on Saturday, July 11, for a one-of-a-kind celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday on New Jersey’s largest freshwater lake.
Residents, visitors, businesses, and boaters are invited to take part in a community-wide display of patriotic pride by decorating boats, docks, homes, and waterfront businesses in red, white, and blue. The day’s festivities will include a patriotic flotilla traveling around the lake, creating a memorable tribute to America’s semiquincentennial and bringing communities across the Lake Hopatcong region together in celebration.
Whether you're participating on the water or cheering from the shoreline, this is a unique opportunity to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary in one of Morris County's most iconic destinations.
