In an effort to keep boat shrink-wrap out of the trash so that it can be recycled, a collection program for this material will be launched on Sunday, March 15, 2011 on Lake Hopatcong at Lee’s County Park Marina, 443 Howard Boulevard, Mount Arlington, NJ 07856.
A roll-off container with signs proclaiming “RECYCLE YOUR SHRINK WRAP HERE!!!” will be located at the marina between March 15, 2011, and June 30, 2011.
Anyone who has boat shrink-wrap (bundled and tied) may deliver it to the marina and stack it in the roll-off container between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. every day between March 15, 2011, and June 30, 2011.  Click here to read the MCMUA's letter inviting people to participate in the program.
