Cyclists enjoy sunny weather for Tour de Lake

MOUNT ARLINGTON – Cyclists enjoyed warm sunny day for the 15th edition of the Cycle Craft Tour de Lake, a fundraising event that takes place every April for the benefit of the borough Fraternal Order of Police and the local Police Unity Tour.
More than 150 riders registered for this year’s event, bringing the total amount of money raised over the last 15 years to more than $25,000.
“Today is an awesome day,” said Keith Licata, chief of police in Mount Arlington and event coordinator.
“We support Keith,” said Brendan Poh, co-owner of Cycle Craft with his wife, Cat Brennan, which became a sponsor of the event five years ago. “We’ve been a big supporter of the Unity Tour since the very first ride—this was a no-brainer to sponsor,” he added.
“We are so happy to be riding with all these fun people,” said Brennan. “It’s been a long, lonely winter.”
