Blustery Day on Lake Hopatcong

LakeHopatcongNews.com reader and contributor Bob Kays submits this photo of Lake Hopatcong on Saturday, February 25.  Gusts of more than 45 miles per hour were reported, along with sustained windspeeds of nearly 30 miles per hour. With wind chill, temperatures, which hovered in the 30s all day, felt like the lower 20s.
Fortunately, there was no ice on the lake to do damage to docks, as happened two years ago. (In fact, there's been barely any ice to speak of for Lake Hopatcong this year.) Nonetheless, the area had a taste of winter's chill (along with a few flurries!) over the weekend.
