Annual Fireworks Light Up Lake

The annual Independence Day fireworks lit up the sky above Lake Hopatcong on Friday night, as thousands of spectators gathered to watch the 30 minute show along the waterfront and in boats all across the main lake.
The fireworks, which are put on by the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club and sponsored in part by the local municipalities, community groups, and private residents, ended with a special event this year to celebrate the LHYC clubhouse's centennial year: the club was outlined in lights, which were turned on just as the show came to a close.
How do you think this year stacked up against past years? Where did you watch from? Tell us here, and submit your favorite photos to editor@lakehopatcongnews.com. And have a lovely Fourth of July weekend!
