A Youth Poetry Day at Luna Parc

on the grounds of Luna Parc July 8, 2023 (rain date July 9)

The grounds open at Noon, workshops begin promptly at 1pm 

followed by open Mic at 2:30

Dear Young Poets, As we look forward to our July event, here's a metaphor we'd like you to consider: Screen doors are open and inviting structures. They let things in and out with ease. On July 8, let's be screen doors together! Let's allow one another's unique, poetic voices to breeze freely though our minds and hearts rather than being "offended" or "upset" by someone's expression, let's allow their "creative breezes" to flow through the day and pass through us in a spirit of curiosity, acceptance, and peace.
