Wellness Initiative for Senior Education

The Center for Prevention & Counseling will host a free 6-week Wellness Education Program for Seniors at the Hopatcong Diner on Tuesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 am from July 25 through August 29. The program provides wellness education to help seniors learn how to manage medications, improve communications with their medical and health professionals and advocate for themselves. This program is designed to help prevent and reduce substance use disorders and addiction for aging adults who may be prescribed medications and treatments for chronic pain. The program provides a free weekly breakfast and a $25 gift card for all participants who attend a minimum of 5 of the 6 sessions.
