Annual Independence Day Fireworks Show on Lake Hopatcong Scheduled for June 30, 2023
MOUNT ARLINGTON, N.J. (June 1, 2023)—In a tradition that spans decades, the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club will host its annual fireworks show on Lake Hopatcong on the evening of Friday, June 30, 2023. The show will begin at dusk, around 9:15 p.m. The fireworks are set off from barges anchored on the main lake, off the north shore of Bertrand Island. The event rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 8.
The fireworks show is made possible by the support of local businesses, organizations, individuals, and families, including the Hudson Farm Foundation, Live The Lake NJ, and the Lake Hopatcong Foundation. Established in 1905, the Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club is one of the oldest inland sailing clubs in the country and is on the National and New Jersey Registers of Historic Places.
