In honor of Blair’s legacy, support The Blair Fund today!

The Blair Schleicher Wilson Homeownership Opportunity Fund (“The Blair Fund”) is being launched to commemorate Blair’s retirement after more than 20 years at Morris Habitat for Humanity and will continue to grow through on-going donations to ensure its impact in perpetuity. Disbursements from the fund will be overseen by Morris Habitat for Humanity’s Executive Leadership in accordance with Blair’s wishes to increase homeownership opportunities in our communities.

The primary goal of the Fund is to provide financial support and assistance to low and moderate income individuals and families who face obstacles in accessing affordable housing, including those who are from marginalized communities and those who may have difficulty qualifying for traditional mortgage requirements.

The Fund will offer various programs and initiatives to help individuals and families overcome these barriers by combining financial assistance, new home-buyer education courses and providing the opportunity to own their own home and achieve sustainable homeownership where they can flourish and thrive.  The Blair Schleicher Wilson Homeownership Opportunity Fund also aims to foster long-term stability, strengthen communities, and create a pathway for economic growth and prosperity through direct funding to Morris Habitat for Humanity as a thought leader launching new and innovative programs, initiatives and collaborations offering profound solutions with the greatest impact on the affordable housing crisis.
