Child & Family Resources is proud of their recent work assisting and supporting families and the child care industry as part of the COVID-19 emergency relief efforts. When the state launched an Emergency Child Care Assistance Program (ECCAP) to help support child care costs for parents or guardians who are essential employees, regardless of income, their organization rose to the occasion. They would like to thank you for being a part of the Morris community.
Child & Family Resources (CFR) is Morris County’s local Child Care Resource and Referral Agency, community based non-profit. CFR provides many different services including child care referral and other parenting supports, child care provider trainings and technical, as well as other efforts to increase the quality and availability of child care. More than a quarter century of caring about children and families in New Jersey has enabled the organization to serve as the catalyst for partnerships between families, local businesses and their communities. However, their mission in which they create and implement programs and services that support the development of children and their families by engaging and partnering with the community in their efforts to enhance the lives of children, is a 24/7 undertaking! Child & Family Resources’ vision is a communal state which shares the burden of early care and education with families, they need your help to continue their work.
Last year’s S.H.I.N.E. campaign enabled them to honor three worthy professionals as “Educator of the Year”. The purpose of the award is to acknowledge educators who exemplify the spirit of CFR’s mission and values and whose professional practice and advocacy for the profession are deemed exemplary. As a nonprofit organization, though, they completely rely on community support. None of their efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers, and supportive community members like you.
