After the thrilling New Orleans win in the Super Bowl on Sunday, it's a good time to reflect on our own glory days.  And, since this is Lake Hopatcong News & Reviews, we're focusing on the moments of triumph on the lake.  What would you call your "glory days" on Lake Hopatcong?  Did they involve riding the roller coaster on Bertrand Island?  Did one include your biggest catch?  In the spirit of the Super Bowl—and a craving we all have for such moments of glory—share your stories here.

A Glory "evening" at Bertrand Island on Lake Hopatcong was going on a date with Andy (my husband now of 33 years) and getting stuck on a ride and having to sit close and snuggle for 30 minutes. There was no separating us after that. :)

The first time I was on Lake Hopatcong was to watch a sailboat race with my boyfriend. He proceeded to tell me "Nothing comes before sailing". I liked the guy and eventually learned how to sail. The year was 1974. I am still hanging out with the guy, married with four kids and still sailing!!!

Taking my grandson fishing, and watching him catch a fish for the first time as an excited five-year-old. The ultimate glory day.
