Knee Deep's contest is to be held this Sunday, January 24. Temperatures are suppose to stay cold at night so this should keep ice good for the week. You can call Dows for information at (973) 663 3826. Fishing Chestnut Point with Northland Puppet Minnows, Marcin Supinski landed an 8 lb 8 oz Walleye and Stanley Malinowski caught a 13 lb 1 oz Channel Cat. Some stripers up to 6 pounds being jigged out of deeper water also. Woodport and State Park areas producing perch, bass and pickerel, using jigs or shiners on a tip up Ice is anywhere from 6 to 9 inches. Have a good week.
