Six plus inches of ice in Landing , Woodport, Riverstyx, and The State Park areas. Guys fishing here since Christmas. Main Lake froze over last Wed. (Dec 30) and has about 5 inches as of now. Guys should be fishing all over by the weekend. Please use caution whenever you are on the ice. Woodport and State park producing some nice white and yellow perch along with some decent pickerel. Reports of some 3 pound walleye in Woodport and Riverstyx along with some Muskies to the holes. Using shiners on tip ups and jigging with rapalas, live grubs mousees and wax worms, and other assorted jigs. Remember that The Knee Deep Club will be holding their ice contest on Jan 24th, ice conditions permitting. With reports of cold weather for the next week, looks like it should be no problem. Info available at Dows, call (973) 663 3826.
