Your Voices: Awesome Winter Scene...

My son, Alex Kays, took this photo last week. It is a view towards Raccoon Island from Katz's Marina in Henderson Cove.
Home Front on the Waterfront: Rainy Days and Mondays and Tuesdays...and Wednesdays...

There is something about the rainy days on the lake that is a bit depressing-like that old Carpenter’s song from the 70’s, Rainy Days and Mondays (always gets me down)…and boy have we had rain lately and not just on Monday.

Paula's Pantry: Kevin and Krista (“You’ll Be In My Heart”)...

Summer has zoomed this year! From houseguests at the lodge along with Kevin and Krista’s weekend visits, to lake friends for dinner parties on the deck. As we entertain nonstop, we older adults slow down our party pace, just as our young adults pick the pace up as summer draws to a close.
